Unable to contain your curiosity, you made your way there.
The house is old with no signs of life within. The front door is unlocked.
Your heart pounds as you step inside.
Through the darkness, one thing catches your eye - a lone TV sitting in the middle of the room...

Unexplainable phenomena. A dark shadow following your every move.
Is it really Sadako? How can you break the curse?
Summon all the courage you have and investigate the house for a way to evade death. Will you survive?

Style of play:

This game can be played with 4 players per group.
Approximately 70 people can participate at the same time, but the game must be challenged in groups.
*Groups may start the game at any time of their choice within their time slot.
*Due to this, there is a chance that you will have to wait for several groups in the same time slot as you to begin their experience first. The longest wait time will be 60 minutes.

Important Points:

【About Tickets】
・A ticket is necessary to participate in this event. Make sure you purchase the right type of ticket that matches the number of people in your group and don't forget to bring it on the day.
・If you wish to play solo, you will need to purchase a two-person ticket to block out your slot (2-players Ticket).
・Ticket prices will vary during extended holiday periods (High Season) such as Golden Week in May, Year end and New Years, Summer Holidays etc. Make sure you check the ticket prices carefully before buying them.
・For safety reasons, preschool children are unable to join the event even if an adult is present. We seek your understanding on the matter.
・Children of age 6-11 will not be allowed to join the event by themselves. To participate, they must be accompanied by a parent or adult of age 18 and older who is also participating. Please also note that Children of age 6 and older will require a ticket to join.
・Children of age 12-15 may join by themselves if they submit a consent form signed by a parent or guardian of age 18 and older. Download, fill in, and sign the consent form below and bring it to the venue.
*If a valid consent form is not presented, they will not be allowed to join the event.

・If Advanced Tickets are sold out online for a particular slot, there will be no On-the-day Tickets sold at the venue either.

【About the Event】
・Up to 70 participants can be playing simultaneously at a given time. Participants will enjoy the event separately as an individual group.
*Each group's start time will be staggered.
Due to this, there is a chance that you will have to wait for several groups in the same time slot as you to begin their experience first. The longest wait time will be 60 minutes.
・In the case that you have to wait, you will be given a waiting card and will be informed when it is your turn. Please put aside ample time for your experience at the venue.
・Due to the nature of the event, the recommended age to fully enjoy it is 12 and older.
・You will be given the choice to add on an additional 5 minutes to your session at 500 yen/person.
*Please understand that this option may not be available during crowded times and for the last session of the day.
*Everyone in the group must agree to continue to use this option.
*Additional fees incurred from the continue option must be paid in cash.
・Participants may choose to experience this event over again as many times as they want. Do note that the contents of the event will remain the same throughout."

【Things to Note Before Coming】
You will be moving around a lot within the venue. Please come in comfortable clothes and shoes.
・You will have to store all your belonging inside a locker which will be provided for free. (Locker size: 30×36×42cm)
・Do not wear high heels to this event.
・Sandals (crocs) can be rented for free. If you need to borrow a pair, please ask the counter staff on the 3rd floor.

Who cannot participate in the event?
Participants will be required to move a lot and quickly inside the venue. Therefore, the following guests will not be able to join the event.
・Pregnant Individuals
・Wheelchair-bound Individuals
・Those who have difficulty getting around on their own
・Intoxicated Individuals

Q. Is this event scary?
A. Yes. There are many horror elements, acting, the venue and videos are extremely dark, and there'll be disturbing music that may make you feel uneasy. Please understand that you are agreeing to participate in a horror experience and make an informed decision.

Q. Can I participate by myself?
A. Yes you can, but you will need to buy a 2-Players Ticket meant for 2 participants to ensure you block out your slot and participate alone.

Q. This is my first time joining one of your events. Will I be able to enjoy it?
A. Definitely! Hints are available throughout the entire experience if you are ever stuck on a puzzle. Also, the final mystery will be explained to you at the end if you do not succeed.

Q. I don't know anything about Sadako and the Ring. Will I still enjoy it?
A. You do not need any prior knowledge of the story or movie to enjoy this experience. It will not affect your ability to solve the mysteries. Of course, those who know Sadako's background may enjoy it a notch more than those who don't.

Q. How long is the whole event?
A. Please give yourselves about 60-80 minutes in total for this event.
Also, there is a chance that you will have to wait your turn. The longest wait time will be 60 minutes. In the case that you have to wait, you will be given a waiting card and will be informed when it is your turn. Please put aside ample time for your experience at the venue.

Q. Can I exit the experience partway through?
A. Strictly speaking, you cannot go in and out of the venue once you start your session.
However, in the case of an emergency, you can inform a nearby staff or press the help button. Do note that once you choose to exit the experience, you will not be able to re-enter again.

Q. Will I be grouped with other people I don't know?
A. No, you will not. You can enjoy the experience in the group you come with.

Q. Can a group of students participant on their own?

A. Yes, you may come back and enjoy it again if you wish to. Do note that the contents of the event will remain the same throughout.

Q. Is there a chance the event will be cancelled due to severe weather like typhoons etc.?
A. Yes. We may choose to cancel due to inevitable reasons such as natural disasters, etc. Notice of any event cancellations and refunds will be posted on the TOKYO MYSTERY CIRCUS website under "Topics". Please make sure to check there if you're unsure whether your event is going to take place. Also, we will not be responsible for any travel fees you incur while traveling to the event venue (including any cancellation fees) when an event has been cancelled.

Q. Can I post spoilers online?
A. We sincerely ask that you do not reveal any of the event's contents online (on blogs, Twitter, Facebook, etc.,) such as description of the puzzles, answers, and photos. Please also keep your voices down on your way out of the venue so that you don't reveal any answers to other participants who have yet to experience it. We ask that you discuss the experience with your friends after you have left the venue.

Q. What languages is this event in??
A. This event can be enjoyed in either Japanese or English. Please make sure you buy tickets for the correct language. You'll be able to enjoy the experience if you can understand and converse at middle school level in the language of your choice.
